AI & Call Recording Disclosure

Last updated: August 25, 2026

OpsCore Answer answers business phone lines with an artificial intelligence receptionist. This page explains, for both our customers and their callers, exactly what that means.

If you called a business and reached our receptionist

  • You spoke with an AI, not a person. If you ask it directly, it says so.
  • The call was recorded and transcribed so the business can hear your message. The greeting discloses this.
  • Your message, number, and recording go only to the business you called. We do not sell caller information or use it to train AI models.
  • In an emergency, hang up and dial 911 — the receptionist will tell you the same.
  • To have your information removed, contact the business you called, or email support@tdsesolutions.com.

What the AI does

  • Greets callers, answers questions from the business's own information (hours, services, FAQs), takes messages, and can transfer calls or flag urgent ones.
  • It only knows what the business told it. It does not quote prices the business didn't list, and it does not give medical, legal, or financial advice.
  • AI speech and transcription can make mistakes. Businesses can always review the actual recording of any call.

For businesses using Answer

  • The default greeting includes a recording disclosure. If you write your own greeting, keeping a recording notice in it is on you — recording-consent laws vary by state.
  • The receptionist never claims to be human. Don't ask it to; it will decline.
  • Emergency calls are directed to 911 and can text you immediately.
